Trojan???
Hey....
I've been playing a bit of BHD, CooP and TIO mod lately (a week+)
And ran into a little annoying problem :evil: The pinger (not the 1 from silentkiller with the
false positive) but the "old" unedited one :) Now I get popup from windows defender that this is a Trojan :-o never did that before.
I thought at first that maybe it was windows defender that detected as more/other things in an update (old things are often classified as viruses)
So I switched to DFBHDJoinTool43b I changed the link so it could update and and see online server. It worked fine and no windows defender warnings :-D
But but.....
I looked in my Router (Threat Prevention) and saw that 15 times A Network Trojan was detected between my computer and 207.178.209.204 that IP
belong to Nova Logic located in California IP Address Lookup for 207.178.209.204 in Malibu, United States and another one 176.62.169.210
a Data center in Belgium IP Address Lookup for 176.62.169.210 in Brussels, Belgium
Every time I open the program or press the "refresh" button :roll:
When it is now both Windows Defender and Routers Threat Prevention that at the same time start to report Trojan/viruses in pings and JoinTool
Is a false positive, probably not what I just guess at first
Anyone else observed something like that?

Dont know... I try 1 from TIO site with false positiv uninstall 5 sek. after 😕
But I use this 1 SetupDFBHDPingerV6.0 cant rember from were I downloaded in 2008 after V5.0 and V5.1 was outdated.
And modified the link my self it had being working all this year until a week ago Still work but now with Trojan 🙁

The reason that you’re getting the Trojan warning is that windows sees the MOD and the pinger as a virus. You need to understand that this is an old setup and that since Windows sees the MOD and basically everything associated with it as a hack, it gives you the warning. You can either set the Pinger and MOD as exceptions in Defender or simply ignore it and run it anyway. I would recommend going to the TIO website under downloads and download the pinger from there. I use Win 11 PRO and it gave me the warning once. I set as an exception and have never seen it again.
Sorry to say it but it is not the MOD (The Mod does not report Trojan) or the "pinger" program itself
that is the problem with reporting Trojan.
But it belongs to the IP in the pinger, I have also tested Joiner tools, there are 2 IPs that report Trojans,
one in California and one in Belgium. Which is also described in previous posts
The Pinger and the Joiner "call" the IP for refresh and update etc when you start the program.
Either there is something bad on those IPs or there is "blacklisted DDNS" associated with them
A small warning IF you set an exception on something that warns you about virus content etc.
then you no longer see the message and the problem is "solved" :roll: :-D
The 2 ip's i think would be 1. PayPal Donation 2. DF-Inside Update for Pinger.
Just a thought.
