You are able to install our TIOcoop Mod with Black Hawk Down only or with Black Hawk Down Team Sabre installed on your computer. After installing, start the TIOcoop Mod, join a TIOcoop Mod server and play together.

The Mod is designed for “Co-Op Gameplay”. All other game types are available but uneven weapon distribution exists.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS VERSION

GAME MENU
A new look and layout to the game menu, new fonts, new continuous menu music, new Intro Video and a drum roll when entering a map.

 

MISSION EDITOR
The Camo Mission Editor was part of the TIOcoop92 but we removed it. It needs more work before it can be used. Your BHD player Character can still be in the correct Camo uniform for the terrain type.

AI (Artificial Intelligence)
AI will run left and right, roll left and right, go prone, dive to prone, stoop and walk, crawl forwards and sideways, draw backward and sideways, Knee and shoot, walk and shoot, run and shoot, shoot from prone, jump better and have some other styles of running.

New AI – There are AI that throw knives, grenades and flashbangs, A deadly flamethrower AI, Four wounded soldiers laying on the ground with bodies that twist and flinch from the hips. Three skeletons – One all messed up, Three zombies – one crawls, another zombie walks and the other walk/runs real weird.

AI Weapon Sounds and Kill Celebrations – You will hear many different weapon sounds coming from the AI. Some AI will shoot you and then come up and Tea Bag you. Others will kill you and come over and put a few shots into your corpse for good measure. Another will go prone next to your dead body and shoot your Teammates as they come to Revive you.

 

PLAYER CHARACTERS
New uniforms for player characters, New character faces, Player character speed has increased.

 

EFFECTS
You will see many different FX, All splashes, ripples, wakes, fountains, bubbles and sprays will have a light blue look. Explosions will have thicker smoke, explosion flames will have a different look and shape.

There will be FX giving your map Flying Moths, Butterflies, Fireflies, Mosquitos and Jumping Bugs. Bigger and better electrical sparks, Bigger kill zones for explosions and debris spread to match.

Other FX – Fog Mist, Stars, Blinking Stars, Lightning, Large Dust Storms, Intermittent Dust Storms, Erupting Volcano Effect and a Nuclear Explosion Effect.

 

SOUNDS
Most of the original Black Hawk Down sounds have been refreshed and hundreds of new sounds added. Hundreds of dialog waves for SinglePlayer maps.

 

WEAPONS
Seven Assault Rifles, Five Sniper Rifles, Two Machine Guns, Five Hand Guns, Three (Stinger, Mortar, AT4) Launchers, Satchel Charge.

Additional Weapons
Flamethrower, Molotov Grenade, Throwing Knives, Flare Gun, Timer Satchel (Timer Satchel is non selectable, it’s always carried). Thermite Flat Pack (Thermite Flat Pack is non selectable, it is a subclass to the Satchel Charge).

Updated Weapons
An update to the Stinger Missile Launcher, AT4 and Flare Gun (longer lasting Green Flares).

 

VEHICLES
Donated to TIO and new to Black Hawk Down is a Mobile Chinook with Armoury and a Mobile Technical with Armoury.(Armoury available for use when vehicle is in motion)

 

FOLIAGE
Updated Winter foliage, Heaps more Jungle and Desert foliage, New foliage for Volcanic Theme.

 

BUILDINGS
Jungle Huts, Jungle Structures, more City and Desert buildings, more Winter buildings and Volcanic buildings. A lot of new skins for buildings.

 

VOLCANIC THEME
A Volcanic Theme has been added. Volcanic terrains, buildings and Rubble, Foliage, Rocks, Lava flows and Erupting Volcano Effects.

 

THINGS THAT EXPLODE OR GO BOOM (These items never exploded)

Exploding Fire Barrel, Large Food Crate, C130 Plane, Three Team Sabre Large Oil Tanks, Fountain, Double Telegraph pole, Coffee Table, Small Field Armoury, 16ft Mesh Fence section.

The Large Group of Grass catches fire and burns, leaving a clear field of view.

There is much more than what is stated above, it’s a mappers paradise and a great revisit for all players, especially for players who enjoy Co-Op.

 

OBJECTIVE
Our aim with this version is to try and slow down the run and gun style of play and make you use a more tactical approach. Now that the AI are more capable and have weapons to match, your game play has to change. If you advance to fast you will die. We have a “No AI Re-Spawn” policy in our maps made for our TIOcoop92 servers. So once you have battled hard for that ground, it’s yours, no AI re-spawn. Our 92 servers have hundreds of new maps in rotation, all with no AI re-spawn.

CRYSTAL BALL VIEW
If this Mod generated enough interest, we would consider converting it to a Mod for all game type and not just Co-Op.

–RELATED INFO–

You Can Not have the “Medic Mod” in your Game Folder, if you are going to play any of our Mods. Remove the “Weapon.def” file to another Folder before you play our Mod, or re-name it. (Example – Re-Name the Weapon.def to WeaponX.def). When you wish to use the “Medic Mod“, remove the “X” from the “Weapon.def” file.

If you do not re-move or re-name the “Medic Mod” and you try to join a TIOcoop Mod server you will be punted automatically.

You are able to install our TIOcoop Mod with Black Hawk Down only or with Black Hawk Down Team Sabre installed on your computer. After installing, start the TIOcoop Mod, join a TIOcoop Mod server and play together.

The TIOcoop Mod Gamers, can not join a Black Hawk Down or Black Hawk Down Team Sabre server. Black Hawk Down or Black Hawk Down Team Sabre Gamers can not join a TIOcoop Mod server.

NovaHQ Heartbeat

 

These DLL files replace a couple files in your games folder.
THEY WILL NOT AFFECT GAME PLAY IN ANY WAY AND WILL WORK WITH ALL MODS.

 

NovaHQ Heartbeat DLL (2018 Alternate Lobby Reporting DLLs)

 

What they will do is report your games online status when you are hosting a “NovaWorld” game session to two alternate lobbies http://nw.novahq.net and http://novaworld.cc. (These lobbies allow any player to join any game without the need to login or create an account on NovaWorld)

 

These files DO NOT AFFECT anything else. Your game will still show up in the Official Lobby like normal. These DLL files can also be used to create your own game lobby or server status for your website. PHP example scripts are included. You may use this information to display your server status or even create your own game lobby for your team to join through.

Download the archive, find your game version and replace the files in your games folder with the ones in the archive. It’s super simple and automatic. There is nothing else to configure or install (but please read the *.ini file). You can use these files to host as many games as you want. (You can view your games online status at the NovaHQ Alternate Lobby or Novaworld.cc Alternate Lobby)

 

 

NovaHQ Heartbeat DLL Update (1.0.5 + PHP Status Script)

I finally got around to creating the PHP Status Scripts for the NovaHQ Heartbeat DLL. Along with the New PHP Script are some minor fixes to the DLL’s and support for the new TIO Coop Mod.

With the latest Heartbeat DLL files (1.0.5) you’ll now be able to send your games status to your own website. It’s pretty easy to setup and install. Read the Readme-PHPScript.txt file for info on how to use the DLL with the PHP Scripts. I still see a lot of websites that manually update their server status, so this may be really useful for some people.

 

In addition to reporting your games status to your own website, the game will still report it’s status to NovaHQ, Novaworld.cc as well as the Official NovaWorld lobby. These files do not affect game play in any way, and work perfectly with the official lobby and any other hosting tool out there that you probably currently use. 20+ servers from DF1 to BHD are now running these files without any issues.

 

I really appreciate everyone that has helped and please continue to help spread the word. The more servers that use these DLL’s, and the more players that use the custom Startup.htm files, the better. I see so many people on Facebook say they can’t play when NovaWorld is down.

These two tools completely remove the requirement for NovaWorld as well as work perfectly with the Official NovaWorld lobby. They are also very easy to use. Drop them into your games folder, overwrite when asked and you’re done!

Useful tool for converting your BMS file to a MIS file

 

This Tool will convert any Delta Force Black hawk Down Binary Mission File with the File Extension “BMS” to the ASCII Mission File Format with the File Extension “MIS” that can be Loaded by the Mission Editor that comes with the Game.

 

–General Info–

The idea of this Program is that you can see by Example how other Mappers built their Map.

 

The BMS2MIS Converter does not Convert the Naming Conventions good Mappers use. Meaning, all the names of the Events, Groups, Area Triggers and Waypoints will have the Default Name and not the Mapper Naming.

 

Another great Tool by FwO Raven. Useful for all Mappers, especially Novice Mappers.

This Manual explains how to use the Mission Editor Tool which comes with your Game. The Mission Editor (Med) was designed specifically to create missions for NovaLogic’s action games.

 

This Mission Editor Manual is in PDF Format.

This Mission Editor is Unlocked and gives you items not available in the Consumer Editors.

 

Another feature allows you to save two different values with “Weapon Accuracy 1” and “Weapon Accuracy 2” for AI’s in the “AI Attributes“.

This Program lets you choose a Custom Colour, then gives you the RGB Values for that colour.

 

These RGB Values are used to change the Colour of the Fog in your Map.

 

 

The RGB Values are copied to your “Fog Color” value boxes in your Mission Editor (Med).

 

 

 

–The Help Button–

If you’ve been having Issues Launching the BHD / C4 / JO Med (Or any other NovaLogic Med) recently, Sil and Scott have found a fix for it.

We combined all the fixes into one Single App that installs the fixes without a Batch File. Seems quite a few people were having issues with that.

 

Download the App and it will install a set of Compatibility Flags for the Mission Editors to help them run properly under Windows 10 1703+. It will also allow you to install fixes for DF1, DFLW and DFTFD and other games.

 

This app installs application compatibility fixes for the following items:

 

Delta Force 1 (Remove Window Borders)
Delta Force LW (Remove Window Borders, Remove Swap File Message)
Delta Force TFD (Remove Window Borders, Remove Swap File Message)

–OPTION–

“Time/Date Format”=Let’s you select between European and US Date/Time format.
“Show DeadSpaces”=Will show you dead spaces (a space in a pff file where a deleted file section is)
“Re-Use DeadSpaces”=When you add files they will be put in a Dead-Space if there are any. (saves some disk space)
“Always Overwrite”=The program will not ask you if it should overwrite a file.

Do not end the program while it is adding files! (doing so may corrupt the pff file, even though it is unlikely)
Drag-Drop only works when you drag a file into the main view screen while you have selected a specific file (or else it would not know to which pff it should add the file)
I know that the File-Refresh takes a bit long, and i will try to optimize the program for speed.

This “Packit Tool” will pack or Un-Pack a PFF. There is a “Packit Help Readme” in the zip file.

The “Pack Program” requires two files in order to work, the “Pack.exe” and the “PackPFF MS Dos Batch” Files.

Right click on the “PackPFF Batch” file and select “Edit” in order to edit it’s commands.

–General structure of the coding is like so–

 

# 1: Pack Name.pff +*.bin (Name is the name of your mod)

# 2: + or – tells if you want to add (+) or take out (-) a file from the .pff

# 3: Name of the file you want to be packed. using a *.xxx is a wildcard pack or un-pack. It basically packs everything in the same folder as the “pack.exe” and “packPFF batch file” that is of file type .xxx OR takes everything out of the .pff that is of file type .xxx

# 4: Pack Name.pff option (Name is the name of your mod)

# 5: Opt(timise) essentially “de-frags” the .pff by moving all of the files into white space created by “deleted” files, thereby making the .pff as small as possible

This tool allows you to create or modify Novalogic PFF files.

Compresses the raw depthmap of a .cpt terrain file so that it can be used in JO.

• XVI32 is a freeware hex editor running under Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP/Vista/7. The name XVI32 is derived from XVI, the roman notation for the number 16. XVI32 and all of its components are developed by myself.

• The current release 2.55 is available since June 26, 2012. It comes with a complete online help and requires only 1.02 MB of hard disk space. There is no setup program needed – just unzip the downloaded archive to your hard disk! XVI32 doesn’t write any data to your registry.

• XVI32 is used by thousands of people all over the world. It was included in books like the Hacker’s Guide. Even people at Microsoft ™ do use XVI32!

What’s New in version 2.55:

• When pasting hex strings from the clipboard, separation of hex chars with spaces is no longer mandatory, e.g. both     0D 0A as well as 0D0A is now valid. The Pinger is a Pinger/IP joining tool for Delta Force Black Hawk Down and Delta Force Black Hawk Down Team Sabre V1.5.0.5.

 

FIXES

Installs Desktop Shortcut.

Pinger displays the game servers.

 

TWEAKS

Added the Novaworld.cc Lobby (Alternative Novaworld Lobby) via the “Play Public Games” link.

Your Desktop Shortcut starts the Pinger in “Run as Administrator” Mode.

Limited the Pinger startup errors to just one error.

“Auto refresh Server Info on startup” is turned on by default.

 

 

This is just another installer for the original DFBHD Pinger with Fixes and Tweaks.

After installing, start Pinger. You will receive one error message, just click the “OK” button on the error window.
(Error Message – Unable to download server info, server might be down. Error: Socket Error #11001 Host not found.)

 

–Pinger Setup–

Click on the “Options” tab. Click the “Browse” button at the end of the “DFBHD Folder” box and browse your way to your game folder and locate the DFBHD.exe. Double click the DFBHD.exe.

(Default DFBHD Folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down)

Now, in the box called “Game Type Installed” choose the game type you have installed, Black Hawk Down (DFBHD) or Black Hawk Down Team Sabre (DFBHDTS) and then click The “OK” button.

If no servers appear, or you see servers but the links do not work, you need a cookie from Novaworld. Close your Pinger, start your game, login to Novaworld and go to the Novaworld lobby. After the Novaworld Lobby displays, Close your game, open up the Pinger and click on the “Public Games” tab and there are your servers.

–Overview–

When you are in the “Public Games” tab, the top window pane shows the Novaworld servers. Switch between BHD or BHDTS servers using the appropriate icons. Double click on the server you like and it adds it to the Server List down in the lower window pane of the Pinger. These are your favourites and are displayed on the Pinger interface in your game after you click “Join Game“.

(You can right click on a server and click “Add“, this will add the server to your Server List)

 

You can manually add a server to the Server List. Click on the “Add Server” icon (Computer Icon)  select the “IP” box and enter the IP address of the server, then click “OK“.

You will have to manually add a server, when the server is using a different Port number. It is the same procedure as above but this time you will add an IP Address and a Port Number, then click “OK“

 

To re-fresh your saved Server List, click on the “White box icon with a tick in it“. To stop the pinging process, click on the “White Box” icon.

 

The Pinger saves changes on exit, so no need to save any changes you make. If you wish to manually save your changes, click on the “Save Changes” icon (Diskette Icon).

 

The Pinger Interface in your game will display your saved Server List, click on the server you wish to join. There are two other links, “Login to Play Stats” and “Play Public Games“. Click on the “Login to Play Stats” and it takes you to the Novaworld Login screen. Click on the “Play Public Games” and it takes you to an Alternative BHD lobby screen. You can join servers straight from this lobby or just get info.

 

If you do not want to type your “User Name” and “Password” everytime you login to Novaworld, you can use the “Use Express Login” feature in the Pinger. This will turn your “Login to Play Stats” into a “Express Login to Play Stats” link, which logs you into Novaworld.

 

For “Use Express Login“, open Pinger, click on “Options“, select the “Stat Games” tab, Put a check in the “Use Express Login” box and fill in your “Login Name” and “Password“, then click “OK”.

You can have both installs of the DFBHDPinger on your computer if you wish but it is recommended that you un-install any other version of DFBHDPinger before installing this version.

If you have installed Black Hawk Down in another Folder, remember to browse to that Folder not the Default Folder. Locate the DFBHD.exe. Double click the DFBHD.exe.

If you have a Steam Version of Black Hawk Down, browse to your Steam Folder and search for your Black Hawk Down Game. locate the DFBHD.exe. Double click the DFBHD.exe. I am not familiar with Steam Games but the Default Folder would look something like this. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steamapp\common\Delta Force Black Hawk Down

Using Pinger Options

 

Linking the Pinger to your Game. 

 

Click on the “Options” tab. Click the “Browse” button at the end of the “DFBHD Folder” box and browse your way to your game folder and locate the DFBHD.exe. Double click on the DFBHD.exe. (Default DFBHD Folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\NovaLogic\Delta Force Black Hawk Down)

 

Now in the box called “Game Type Installed” choose the game type you have installed, Black Hawk Down (DFBHD) or Black Hawk Down Team Sabre (DFBHDTS) and then click The “OK” button.

Enabling Express Login Feature. 

 

If you do not want to type your “User Name” and “Password” in everytime you login to Novaworld, you can use the “Use Express Login” feature in your Pinger. This will turn your “Login to Play Stats” into a “Express Login to Play Stats” link, which logs you into Novaworld.

 

For “Use Express Login“, open Pinger, click on “Options“, select the “Stat Games” tab, Put a check in the “Use Express Login” box and fill in your “Login Name” and “Password“, then click “OK”.

THE PINGER

Lists DF:BHD & DF:BHD “Team Sabre” servers.
Integrated browser.

The Crosshair Mod allows you to change your crosshairs and you can select a different compass ring if you wish.

There is a large selection of crosshairs ranging in shape, size and colour.

This will update your Black Hawk Down to Version 1.5.0.5.

This will update your Black Hawk Down Team Sabre to Version 1.5.0.5.

Medic Mod – Weapon Mod

This “Medic Mod” allows a Medic to carry all Weapons and gives extra ammo to all Characters.

 

You Can Not have the “Medic Mod” in your Game Folder, if you are going to play any of our Mods. Remove the “Weapon.def” file to another Folder before you play our Mod, or re-name it. (Example – Re-Name The Weapon.def to WeaponX.def). When you wish to use the “Medic Mod“, remove the “X” from the “Weapon.def” file.
